BPO’s Should Collaborate To Fight Rising Infrastructural Costs

SME’s To Lead BPO Entry Into Tier 2 & 3 Cities To Help Grow Industry Faster

Organised by BPO Association in collaboration with World BPO forum the Bharati.co BPO conference discussed The future of BPO’s in India under emerging issues like Risk Management and Disaster Recovery Business Continuity Plan, Failure Mode Effect Analysis among other Key Drivers for Development and Growth Of Domestic BPO and Challenges for 2012-2013.

Describing growth in the domestic BPO industry Mr Manan Vashisht, Sr Vice President, Bharati.co Infomedia Ltd added “India’s Value Proposition lies in the 40-60% cost reduction for offshore process and the labor cost arbitrage which will keep this scenario intact for the next 20-30 years and the entry of SME’s in this sector will add to this growth specially in the Tier 2 & 3 sectors”.

Eminent for the growth of the BPO sector with less focus on voice based BPO’s was another consensus among most delegates present.
